Coronado Groundfix is a deep seeking "switch and go" type of a metal detector with automatic
ground balance control divided in three levels. The different levels of the automatic ground
balance control are tuned for different ground mineral content.
Like all Nexus metal detectors the Coronado Groundfix is also tuned in resonance Induction
Balance.
The electronic principal of the Coronado Groundfix is motion detector with fast recovery speed.
Its design offers a versatile use on most inland sites and salt water beaches around the world
including sites with heavy mineral deposits and black sand beaches.
Coronado Groundfix exhibits excellent depth penetration and discrimination accuracy by been
capable to detect a single coin (30mm) at 14" (36 cm) depth under ground or targets as small
as 1.5 mm in diameter (very small metal particles).
Coronado Groundfix is a metal detector with exceptionally low weight (1.3 kg with 8 AA
batteries) and excellent weight balance.
Coronado Groundfix is easy to learn to use and for achieving best results it does not require
previous detecting experience.
The depth performance of Coronado Groundfix is compliant to the performance standards for
all Nexus Metal Detectors.
