LC-MC Control

LC-MC Set is used to set the cut-off point between the lowest conductors and the mid conductors. Lowest conductors are considered small hammered gold coins and some hammered silver coins.
On sites littered with aluminum trash the LC-MC Set control can be used to separate the smaller aluminum pieces and not dig them out. The particular adjustment of this control depends on the particular site and desire for rejecting or accepting certain targets.

M.C. Fine stands for Mineral Control Fine. This control is to be used on highly mineral ground where the standard GB is not capable to set the detector properly. The M.C. Fine will work only after the the Mineral Control is enabled by the toggle switch.
M.C. Fine has to be applied by small increments and after every turn the GB needs to be readjusted.
Turning the M.C. Fine clockwise will increase the detector resistance to magnetite and will reduce some of the depth penetration.
Like the LC-MC Set the M.C. Fine control has to be set according to the site conditions.

The scale on the VCO is there for a balanced look on the front sticker of the detector, nothing more.
