STANDARD MP V3 The Standard MP V3 (Mineral Power) is a VLF Induction Balance metal detector. Designed to operate in manual mode, as the best performance results possible is still only achievable manually. CHARACTERISTICS

Masterful performance on general and challenging search conditions, riverbanks and freshwater beaches.

Extraordinarily stable on normal and high mineral ground conditions.

Superior discrimination - precise identification of deep large Iron targets. Low sensitivity to tiny, undesirable objects ie. bits of lead, foil & thin wires, yet does not miss a very small coin. Stable performance close to EMI (electromagnetic interference). Finds valuable targets under Iron Stones too big for other IBD’s to ignore or penetrate. Higher resolution of adjustment than any other IB detector, digital or analogue. Lifelong constant thermal stability, no drift caused by environmental temperature or moisture changes.

Super fast recovery speed with Nexus Silver Scout coils.

KEY FEATURES Super damping technology Extends the limits of IB technology in all soil conditions. Maximizes efficiency of ground and mineral suppression, removes mineral interferance. Utilizes the ground conductivity to enhance metal target detection, resulting in better detection in ground than in air. Depth Clear detection of 50 cm copper pan at 3 meters depth with dual 31 inch search coil. VCO Adaptable recovery speed in the VCO (multi tones) audio. Accurate discrimination of all non-ferrous targets at maximum detection depth. RGB Meter RGB led meter indicating 3 conductivity ranges for non-ferrous. No Iron indicator. Green - Lowest conductors. Examples: Gold coins and small Aluminium fragments. Orange - Medium conductors. Examples: Lead, Copper, Bronze Purple / White. Highest conductors. Examples: Mostly Silver targets. CONTROLS Battery test toggle switch Volume combined with on/off Ground balance - Dual ground balance: Fine multi turn and Coarse single turn. Mineral control - Fine Mineral Control with on/off togle switch. Discrimination Target isolation with LC-MC Set for isolating hammered gold coins and other small gold items from almost all other non-ferrous targets. OTHER FEATURES 4 pole, carbon fiber shaft. 12 hour battery life. Built in loudspeaker. Headphone socket Battery recharge socket 10 AA battery compartment. (SIngle batteries or rechargeable pack.)
GROUND BALANCE PROCEDURE - Nexus Standard MP V3 VLF Induction Balance Metal Detector 1. Turn the detector on from the Volume control. 2. Set the audio to a level comfortable for you. 3. Set the threshold to a barely audible level. 4. Set the discrimination level to 0 if a low frequency coil is fitted. For high frequency coils the discrimination level will be different. Read the User Manual on how to set the discrimination level. 5. Mineral Control and VCO Off. 6. Find ground free from metal. 7. Turn the Coarse Gb knob to 10 (fully clockwise). 8. Begin moving the search coil up and down between 8 cm and 25 cm above ground. 9. If the detector beeps while the search coil is going up - turn the Fine GB knob slightly to the right. 10. If the detector beeps while the search coil is going down - turn the Fine GB knob slightly to the left. 11. Keep repeating step 8. & 9. until there are no beeping sounds when the search coil moves up and down. If the Fine GB is out of range (the detector beeps only when the coil goes down) then turn the Coarse GB to 9.5-9 to set a different GB range.
